Brandpad works out at $2.47 a month — the longest lifetime licence on our menu

Brandpad's lifetime licence costs $89 against $249 recurring — $2.47 a month over the 36-month term, a seven-month break-even and the biggest absolute savings gap on the menu.

Brandpad has the longest licence term on our entire menu: 36 months for a one-off $89 against a $249 recurring price. Spread across the three-year term, that is $2.47 a month against $13.83 on the monthly plan — and it breaks even seven months in, leaving twenty-nine free months on the clock. Here is what that buys, and which way its unusual term cuts.

What the deal is

A single $89 payment for a 36-month licence to a brand asset delivery tool. The two strengths recorded on its deal page are both client-facing: client portals and versioning. That pairing matters for agencies — a branded portal where clients pull approved logos, palettes and assets themselves, with version history behind it, removes the "can you send the latest logo again" email loop entirely.

The maths

Seven months to break even is middling in our cost-per-month table — on par with Metricsprout and Inkwell AI's eight, slower than Mailwright's two. The term is what makes the deal unusual: 29 free months at $13.83 the recurring plan would have charged is $401 in fees avoided, against $497.88 for the full three years on monthly — a $409 saving on an $89 licence. That is the largest absolute savings gap on the menu.

The term cuts both ways

A 36-month licence is the safest possible position against a vendor's first term cut, and the riskiest against its survival. If Brandpad repackages its tiers next year, you are already paid through 2029; if the product stops development after year one, a long licence amplifies the dead weight. That is exactly the mechanic we documented in the graveyard piece, so before buying anything this long, read our buyer's report on the marketplaces and check the vendor is alive.

Who should wait

  • Anyone who rebrands often. The value assumes you will still use the portal in year three; churn-heavy agencies get less out of a 36-month commitment than steady retainers do.
  • Anyone needing asset editing. Delivery and versioning is what the pros column covers; this is a front door, not a design suite.
  • Score-first buyers. There is no score on the deal page yet — testing is still running, and we do not number a tool until it survives live work.

The verdict

$2.47 a month against $13.83, break-even in seven months, and the two features that define the category — client portals and versioning — on the pro side. The deal is arithmetically the best absolute-savings play on the menu; the open question is product durability over three years, which no price can answer. Watch the Brandpad deal page for the score when testing finishes.
