How we taste-test
The score rubric

| 7.0–8.4 | Taste it | Good, with caveats you should read first. |

The process
We buy every tool with our own money and use it on real work for at least two weeks before a verdict. No review keys, no vendor demo accounts.
What we check on every tool:
- onboarding — how long until real work happens
- core features — do they work as promised
- limits — API caps, seat caps, feature locks, the fine print
- support — does anyone answer, and how fast
- export — can you get your data out when the deal dies
Who tests
Every verdict page names the human who tested it and when — no anonymous aggregate scores.
The rules
- No paid verdicts. Money changes nothing on the menu.
- No vendor previews. Vendors see the verdict when you do.
