Copyforge Team at $99: five seats for less than the price of two, and the clock is ticking
The Copyforge Team plan is $99 for five seats against a $249 list — $19.80 a seat — but the deal is flagged as ending and our hands-on impressions date from September testing.
Copyforge's single-seat lifetime deal gets most of the attention on the SaaSChef menu, but the Team plan is the quieter bargain: $99 for five seats against a $249 list price. That works out at $19.80 per seat one-time — against $49.80 per seat at list. The single-seat lifetime licence is $49 on the Copyforge listing, so the Team plan is effectively paying less than double for five times the seats.
What the team tier covers
The row we tested against (Test Kitchen, 13 September 2026, scored 8.3) lists five seats and priority support as the tier's two headline features. For a small agency or a marketing team of two to five people who would otherwise buy several single-seat licences, the group price is the whole argument: five individual seats at the personal-deal rate would run $245 — within pennies of the $249 list price, and more than double the $99 team figure.
The caveats are real
Two things temper the recommendation. First, the deal is flagged as ending — the Copyforge Team listing says so directly, so treat the price as time-limited rather than standing. Second, our hands-on impressions come from September 2026 testing and have not been re-verified against the vendor since; our main Copyforge review carries an editor's note saying exactly that. Copy short-form tools change pricing and tier features without notice — check the listing before you pay.
Where the deal is sold, and what that means
The Team plan sits on RocketHub, which we rate 6.1/10 as a marketplace — long-running but slower-moving, with a 30-day refund window. Our refund-window guide covers why that 30 days matters more the pricier the tier, and our marketplace splits report notes RocketHub sellers keep 30% — a thinner margin that makes late-stage discounts and tier retirements more likely, not less.
Verdict
At $19.80 a seat for five seats, this is the cheapest way onto a tool we scored 8.3 — if the seats will actually be used. A solo buyer gains nothing over the $49 single-seat licence. Skip it if you write long-form for a living: the single-seat review applies to the engine, and long-form is weaker than short-form across every tier. Buy within the window only if two or more seats have genuine weekly use, and verify the listing is still live first.
