Formwise works out at $2.46 a month — but no one has tested it, and its cheaper sibling is already dead

Formwise's $59 lifetime deal is $2.46 a month over 24 months against a $159 list price — but the deal is still untested in our kitchen, and the early-bird batch already ended up in the Graveyard.

The sticker maths on Formwise are the cheapest on the saaschef menu. The lifetime deal is $59 against a $159 normal price, over a 24-month term that works out at $2.46 a month. The normal cost runs $13.25 a month, so you break even after 5 months, and over the full two years the normal route would cost 24 × $13.25 = $318.00 — a headline saving of $259.00. The licence itself is $100 under list.

The catch: this deal has never been through the kitchen

Every other deal we recommend carries a Test Kitchen score with a date attached. Formwise does not: the deal is listed live and the vendor status is alive, but there is no tested score, no pros list beyond the headline features (conditional logic and payments), and no cons list at all. A form builder lives or dies on the details those blanks hide — logic-jump limits, payment checkout behaviour, export paths. At $2.46 a month the price is honest; the product record is not yet.

The sibling deal already died once

Formwise ran a cheaper Early Bird batch at $39 against a $99 list — and the vendor pulled it after two weeks. That deal now sits in the Graveyard (dated 2026-09-09, off the menu, vendor marked dead on that offer). Relisting at $59 a few weeks later reads like a second bite: some vendors treat early-bird pullbacks as routine pricing experiments, others as a warning about how they handle the people who bought first. Without test data either way, we make no call — we simply note the history.

Who it suits anyway

If you need a small-team form tool and $59 is inside your experiment budget, a builder with conditional logic and payments at $2.46 a month is a defensible gamble — cheaper than any tested deal on the site. If the purchase matters operationally (client intake forms, paid checkout flows), wait for a tested score before committing; untested plus a graveyarded sibling is the one combination this menu flags rather than rates.

Verdict

Untested — buy at your own risk, or wait. The $259.00 paper saving over 24 months is real, the headline price is the lowest on the menu, and the vendor is alive. What is missing is exactly the evidence a form-builder purchase turns on. Check the current Formwise deal page and the Formwise business page for updates, and compare the tested cost-per-month reviews before spending.
