Linkvault works out at $3.25 a month — but this deal already died once

Linkvault's relisted $39 lifetime deal works out at $3.25 a month against a $99 list price — but the original deal is already in the graveyard after a pivot, and the roadmap is still uncertain.

Linkvault does link management the straightforward way: unlimited links, QR codes and team workspaces for a one-off price. The maths on the current deal is friendly — $39 against a $99 normal price, over a 12-month term that works out at $3.25 a month. The normal cost runs $16.50 a month, so you break even after 3 months, and over the term the normal route would cost 12 × $16.50 = $198.00 — a saving of $159.00.

So why the hesitancy? Because this is the second Linkvault lifetime deal, and the first one is in our graveyard. The original LTD went off the menu when the product pivoted to agencies; the deal the early buyers purchased simply ceased to exist as described. It carried a $49 offer price against $129 list before the pivot ended it in September 2026.

What the current deal actually is

The relisted deal scored 5.8 in the Test Kitchen on 2026-09-24 — a mid-table mark, not a warning. The kitchen credited unlimited links, QR codes and team workspaces as genuine features, and nothing in testing failed the way the graveyard entries did. The single caveat is structural: the listed con is that the feature roadmap is uncertain after the pivot. You are buying a tool that has already changed direction once.

Who this suits

If your link management needs are present-tense — links and QR codes and shared workspaces today — $3.25 a month is hard to argue with, and breaking even after 3 months means the downside is bounded. If you are buying on the promise of where the roadmap goes, the pivot history says wait for the roadmap to exist first.

How it compares

Mid-score lifetime deals are exactly where the graveyard matters most: the cost-per-month reviews cover the tested picks, and the graveyard shows what happens when a vendor changes direction under an existing deal. Read both before any lifetime spend.

Verdict

Cautious buy. A $159.00 saving with a 3-month break-even is real, and the relisted tool tests fine today. The honest risk is not price — it is that the agency pivot already orphaned one cohort of buyers. Check the current Linkvault deal page and the Linkvault business page for the roadmap signals the kitchen flagged.
